This free event hosted on Zoom will see a range of BU scholars provide their unique disciplinary insights into the election.

Professor Candida Yates will be considering the election from the perspective of psychosocial studies and psychoanalysis.

Professor Darren Lilleker will discuss the roles played by the political parties and candidate communication in the election. Professor Lilleker also researches voter engagement, which has been a key issue in this electoral cycle.

Dr Andrea Jarman, JD, will address the legal and constitutional issues that have proven central to this election, in particular, the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett, to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Amy Tatum will reflect on the role gender has played in this election.

The event will last between 60 and 90 minutes including time for questions.
